Terms and Conditions
1 Booking & Deposit Policy
1.1 Non-Refundable Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
1.2 Deposit Confirmation
Your session is only confirmed once the deposit has been received.
No deposit = no booking.
1.3 First-Come, First-Served
All bookings are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Dates and time slots are not reserved without payment.
1.4 Proof of Payment (POP)
Clients must send proof of payment (POP) immediately after making the deposit.
1.5 Unconfirmed Bookings
Bookings without proof of payment will not be confirmed, and the slot may be released to another client.
2. Scheduling & Postponement Policy
2.1 One-Time Postponement
Clients may postpone their session once only. Any further rescheduling requests will result in the session being forfeited.
2.2 Postponement Fee
A 30% postponement fee applies and is non-refundable. The fee must be paid before a new date is confirmed.
2.3 Weekday Sessions Only
Postponed sessions will be rescheduled strictly on weekdays (Monday to Friday).
2.4 Subject to Availability
All postponed sessions are subject to studio availability. Preferred dates or times are not guaranteed.
2.5 Failure to Reschedule
If a client does not secure a new date within the available options provided, the booking will be cancelled with no refund.
3. Waiting Period & Image Delivery Policy
3.1 Start of Waiting Period
The waiting period begins only once the client has completed selecting photos for editing from the selection link provided.
3.2 Standard Waiting Periods
Baby Packages (Premium, Luxury & Legends): 10 working days
Baby Balloon Package: 10 working days
Adult Premium Packages: 10 working days
Standard Package: 10 working days
Maternity: 4 weeks
Waiting periods exclude weekends and public holidays.
3.3 Client Delays
Any delay in photo selection by the client will automatically delay the delivery timeline.
4. Priority Delivery Policy
4.1 Priority Delivery Option
Clients requiring images sooner than the standard waiting period may request Priority Delivery.
4.2 Priority Fee
A priority fee of R400 applies.
4.3 Subject to Availability
Priority delivery is subject to availability and workload capacity. KB Portraits reserves the right to decline priority requests.
4.4 Non-Refundable Fee
Once confirmed, the priority fee is non-refundable.
5. General Terms & Conditions
5.1 Booking & Availability
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only secured once payment requirements are met.
5.2 Props & Setups
Props, outfits, colors, and setups shown in sample images are for illustration purposes only and may vary.
5.3 Creative Control
KB Portraits reserves full creative control during the photoshoot.
5.4 Time Management
Late arrival may result in reduced shooting time.
5.5 Refund Policy
No refunds once a session has commenced.
5.6 Baby Session Disclaimer
The photographer will not be held liable for uncooperative behavior, including crying or restlessness during baby sessions.
5.7 Editing Style
Images are edited in KB Portraits’ signature style. Re-edits are not guaranteed.
5.8 Personal Belongings
KB Portraits is not responsible for personal belongings brought to the studio.
5.9 Hourly Sessions
Hourly sessions include outfit changes, shooting time, and minor set modifications where necessary. If the photographer determines that sufficient images have been captured, the session may conclude before the full hour.
6 Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with KB Portraits, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to all studio policies and terms & conditions.
